I have the most amazing husband ever.
We were planning on taking a "babymoon" this coming weekend. It's the last weekend that we have free that will be just the two of us (while SS is at his mom's house) before Brayden is born while I'm still comfortable traveling. (We already decided - no traveling in October.)
We hadn't really planned anything though. We've thrown around ideas like St. Augustine & Orlando, or Savannah, GA, but never really decided on anything. After traveling this past weekend, even though we had such a wonderful time visiting with family and going to my baby shower, we were definitely ready to be out of the car, get home, unpack, and relax. It was exhausting to travel at almost 31 weeks pregnant. We've been going out of town a lot this summer, and even DH was ready to be home.
DH and I were emailing each other today with ideas for our trip this weekend. Then I got this email from him:
Actually, I have a better idea.
Hun, this money should be spent on you.
How bout a pedi/mani and massage at the spa ?
And I'll take you dinner at Carrabba's.
We won't have to get back in the car and travel
and the weekend will be all about Samantha relaxing
and being pampered.
What do you think?
What do I think? I think I have the most amazing husband EVER!
He even did his research. Here is the next email:

Wow. Just wow. He really is so incredibly wonderful. I wrote back and said I didn't need a manicure because I cut my nails off, but maybe we could upgrade to the Hot Stone Pedicure. His response:
Deal !

Wow, way to go Chris! I worked at a salon when I was pregnant so I got discounted services, but I hinted at Scott to purchase a gift card for a full day of pampering and he didn't get the hint. Nice job!
