Houston, we have a heartbeat!

Hooray! We just got back from our 2nd u/s appointment and we were able to see Baby V.'s little heartbeat flickering away like crazy at 154 BPM! It was so amazing to see! The gestational sac is definitely getting larger. We could still see the yolk sac, and the fetal pole is now visible as well. Baby V. is measuring at 7w1d. DH likes to affectionately refer to Baby V. as his "little speck" because that's what it looked like on the first u/s. After today's u/s, I think our babe looks more like a tadpole or a little lizard. I think you can kind of see the little bumps where the arm and leg buds are (but I'm not 100% positive).
